As it is the busy holiday season, and we are still a volunteer run organization, we’re taking the next three weeks as a bit of a breather time. We’ll still hold Fight Club and our Saturday class will take place this weekend, but until the new year, we’ll be taking our time to go through the GamePro donation, and get a bit of a new perspective on the exhibitions we’ve been planning. You see, the GamePro donation instantly removed any and every problem we were having with cables, broken consoles, fidgity controllers and missing power cables. All at once, these problems went away. Now, the problem is organizing this immense load of cables, consoles, games, joysticks, prototypes, poster-sized cover images, and action figures.
Our aim, now, is to be open for three days a week to the public for viewing in January. We hope to staff up with interns from the local colleges. Let us know if you can help us get some interns in to staff the door and keep the place open during the day. The more we get, the more days we can open.
So, a happy holidays to ya’ll. If you want to give us a tax deductible Holiday Gift, we’ll take donations via PayPal, but what we really need most of all is industrial shelving. The kind that comes in boxes and looks like erector set parts.
If you have questions about whether or not an event is taking place, check our calendar on the front page.
