And now, a C class

C is for cookie! But that’s not good enough for us. It’s also the world’s most popular programming language. The grandfather of modern computing languages, C is useful for everything from modifying the Linux kernel, to writing console computer games. If you know C, you can learn any programming language, because 90% of them are somehow based on C.

Why do I say all of this? Because we are firing up another new class. Starting April 27, we will be hosting an introduction to C class. This will be a class available for free to the public. You don’t need to know anything to join the class, but this will be following some very advanced concepts and techniques, so it is recommended for folks who are at least somewhat computer savvy already. No prior programming experience is necessary, however. Consider this a beginner/intermediate type class, with a bent towards intermediacy.

C class will take place Sundays from 2-4 starting April 27, and are open to everyone, from teens to adults. This will be a set of classes, so be prepared to return every week for at least 8 weeks. Class will cover the basics, the advanced, and even how to compile and run an application in a virtual machine.

If you would like to join this class, please email Chris to reserve your slot. Please note everything has moved back one week to April 27.
