Greetings, world! We exist! We are building a museum in the San Francisco Bay Area, and we need your help! You’ve already offered considerable help in the form of 10% of our Kickstarter goal! I can’t stop using exclamation points! Also, we were on Kotaku!
So what’s next? Game Developers Conference. We will be appearing there in booth #2040, so come by and check out our first exhibit: Dynamically Generated Content. We also hope to have a giant print out of Eric Wall’s fabulous tree of development houses. Please come sign your name next to the places you worked on our giant print out.
Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment’s Kickstarter campaign is running for 62 days, until April 18. That means we have 2 months to get the word out and raise even more money than we’re hoping for, here. We have enough gifts to accomodate quite a lot more than the $20,000 Kickstarter chose for us, so there is no reason for us to stop raising funds if we hit that mark. We’ll want all that money to be available to keep our space open, and given at least $1000 extra, we can assuredly get the super fast Internet connection we want. We’ll also be able to pay for the power we’ll need to host old game servers.
Thanks to everyone who’s helped so far! Keep up the good work!
