• ​The fundamentals of roleplaying and “yes, and”

• ​Co-creating a safe and fun space for shared storytelling

• ​A review of the tools and materials you might need

• ​How to create a backstory

• ​How to actually play (yes, you get to play!)

Who is hosting?

​Vera Devera started playing Dungeons & Dragons in 2016. Growing up as a first generation Filipino American, she was not exposed to the hobby until her 30s and ever since she rolled her first 20-sided die, she hasn’t stopped since. Now a “forever DM,” Vera loves running games in-person and over virtual tabletop (VTT), including a long-running women’s campaign in the Humblewood setting, Curse of Strahd, and Icewind Dale. When she’s not DM’ing, she’s building a community for corporate sustainability practitioners and strategists at a climate tech company.
