Using all free tools, follow industry veteran Chris Platz, aka “the Dire Dungeon Master” as he sculpts, paints, rigs, and animates a 3D character, loads it into Unreal Engine, and prepares it for 3D printing. All in less than 1 hour.

Chris Leon Platz is an educator and award winning multimodal mixed reality artist, entrepreneur, and research scientist. His works have been featured by Autodesk Gallery, Game Developer’s Conference, and published scientific research in SIGGRAPH, SIGCHI, and NIME.
Currently he’s working on an experimental indie game World of Mush “WoM”, using stop motion myconoid characters and Unreal Engine. He’s also a dedicated life-long educator, and supports the next generation of Bay Area game developers by teaching at Berkeley City College, Cal State East Bay, and Mission College.
